  • This education program is focused on Fluids Engineering for Industrial Processes. Applications are related to fluid flows in petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, energy transformation…
  • Teaching : French(50%) - English (50%)
  • Students will beneficiate of a personal advising by professors of the education program during all the Master program.

Savoir-faire et compétences

The purpose of the lectures is concerned with the physics and modelling of transport phenomena in multiphase flows (bubbles, drops, granular media, emulsions and foams).

  • Summer M1-M2 (mid-June–mid-September)
  • Opportunities of internships in Labs and Research & Development industrial centres (2-3 months)
  • Research or technical project.
  • Preparation of failed ECTS.
  • Semester M2a
  • Reaction Engineering, Transport Phenomena (35h – 2 ECTS)
  • Turbulence in Fluids, Numerical Simulations (70h – 6 ECTS)
  • Complex Fluids and Interfacial
  • Phenomena (60h – 5.5 ECTS)
  • Heterogeneous media and Multiphase Flows (55h – 4.5 ECTS)
  • Transfer and Reactions (50h – 4 ECTS)
  • Industrial Project (6 weeks - 8 ECTS)
  • Semester M2b
  • Internship (March-September) in
  • Labs (IMFT - LGC - LISBP) and
  • Research & Development Industrial Centres
  • Report and Defence mid-September (30 ECTS)

Stages

The courses will be taught by high-level academic scientists and engineers. Along the two years of formation, the contact with our industrial partners (TOTAL, AREVA, CEA, EDF …) is strengthened by research and industrial projects (8 + 6 weeks) and a long internship (5 months).
